Visits and Visitors

Autumn term

As part of our topic about ourselves, we talked about how we had grown and changed since we were babies. We were very lucky to have a baby visiting our class so that we could make comparisons of what a baby can do and what we can do now.

We had a fantastic trip to Eureka in Halifax.

We found out about our body and our senses in the 'All about me' area.

We enjoyed our time in the 'Living and working together' area, where we found out about different work places and jobs.

What we did last year....
Summer term

We enjoyed a day at Manor Heath Jungle experience in Halifax, where we explored plants from other countries in the Tropical World,
measured the heights of plants in the Walled Garden and looked at patterns in the Symmetrical Garden.
