Help with Homework and Useful Weblinks

Your support is valuable in extending your child's learning. We would be grateful if you could spend a small amount of time each day to help them with their set homework or reading with them.

The homework we give supports the learning we are currently doing in class. We try to make it quite practical so that it is enjoyable for the children and provides an opportunity for you to talk about what they are doing at school.

Each Wednesday we will send home a 'learn at home' book which will contain numeracy and literacy activities and other activities based on our current topic. We will collect these books in on Monday.

Please make sure you check your child's book bag daily to see if they have any homework.

This site contains lots of useful tips to support children's learning at home. It has lots of free books to read online for children aged 4 - 11. There are also follow up activities for each book.
